have you tried contacting any VTers living in Guangzhou or even HK or Shenzhen
- Chinas a country thats always been pretty much self sufficient with its own industries - companies and people are industrious
- basic cars for taxis have been used in Guangzhou in a big way for quite a few years now and then increased models of cars since privatisation - so car accesories being there shouldnt be a problem but locating exactly where is probably what you would more so find by contacting VTers in the area

Yes there are after market and production capable factories in the Pearl Delta
there is an exhibition coming up soon

Are you after single pieces or are you after merchandizing quantities. A lot of the people who make these parts either supply the local manufacturers in support of production (ie Toyota, Honda or BYD) or can only export their product. I saw plenty of "speed shops" in Shenzhen when I lived there two years ago, so I would imagine the same in Guangzhou?
If you are after container quantities then use Alibaba to get leads

Travel Tips for Guangzhou

Beware of your handbag,and pay...

by jjasmine

Beware of your handbag, and pay attention for everythings around you. Sounds horrible but it's true. This is the train station in shou qing. Food is wonderful and cheap. But when you go for shopping there, You must bargain for the price, they tell you it's $200. You just walk out and say $50 then you leave the shop.....Then the sales will follow you and say okey ,,okey,, $50.. hahahaha

Train from Guangzhou to Guilin

by Willettsworld

I took the overnight train (No. T38) from Guangzhou's main train station to Guilin which took about 11 hours. I decided to take comfy soft class which cost RMB383 but it was well worth it. The train left on time at 19:50 and not soon after boarding I took myself off to get something to eat in the buffet car where I got talking to some western tourists. The train arrived in Guilin on time at about 06:45.

This is an artist's rendering of the new International Airport which Guangzhou expects to have, not certain of the prospective completion date, but it will be newer than the new Hong Kong/Kowloon airport.
