Chigang Pagoda

This lonely pagoda lies in the middle of new apartment blocks to the south of the city centre.
Directions: Take metro to Chigang and walk south down the track past the new TV Tower. Turn right at the main road at the end and the pagoda is one the other side of the road.

"Well about 100 years old"
The well was built by grandfather to provide water for people who live in the Kansa District. During that time not many people in this area can afford a well of their own. Only the rich can afford their own well. Think of it how fortunate we are now, we can can have access water practically any time and anywhere. Picture of the well and I am one with blue shirt, centre that was my sister and on the right is our relative who still live there. He the 3rd generation according to my father.
"Secret Door Lock"
100 years ago doors in grandfather time does not have locksmith, most of the door are specially design and constructed with a secret locking device. The close up picture of the door show there are two holes for lock and unlock the door. Only family members know about the combination.

There plenty of land in China, anyone in the past can claim the land once they live there for a period of time. In order to legalise, you need to have a address license plate. Picture show that this house is legal and own by the people who stay inside.
