A chinese Hotel -

The hotel has really nice lobby, with marble floors and columns and pillars. A lil dated though but nice. I Checked in- only one desk clerk spoke english, which is better than no english at all. I think they had 3 types of rooms Superior, Business and Standard (not sure if is is these are the exact names - but you know what I mean ) I had the business room the first night and the standard room 2 other nights, however they are the same type of room, nothing different. So just stick with the standard, its cheaper, about $50 a night. Hallway is clean and they have housekeeping station on every floor if you need anything.

However, Its a very chinese hotel.. I was the only foreigner for sure. The rooms were clean... and service was good. When I called for an iron, housekeeping was at the door in 3 minutes.
the bathroom was ok.. a lil dingy spot in the corner but nothing to complain about. All granite
and very slippery.
The room furniture was standard but the beds were hard like a board and the bed was Lower than I've ever seen in a hotel.... no comfort whatsoever. very disappointing. But atleast I had free and fast wifi because there were no english channels at all to watch. TIP**chinese gov. does block some websites like mypace and others i later learned that****

This hotel has 2 resturants - one chinese, downstairs next to the nice artificall waterfall and fish pond And one So called western resturant....... (my a$$) which is expensive. I spent about 25 bucks on a steak dinner w/ fries and i swear i thought it was horse I didnt even eat it.
I did get stopped while walking in the hotel hallway one evening while it was raining outside
wanted to check out the gym and the business center. They even had a pool table in the rec room...but when I got run down (I literally saw her run) by a chinese employee and asked my purpose for being in that area, I didnt bother to use the facilities anymore.

Unique Quality: Its central.. close to the highway. $3 taxi ride to beijing rd. Some shopping in the area, if brave enough to walk.
