NEED HELP!!

Im Traveling to Guangzhou (ha i spelled it) and i need some tips on where to go because i will be there for a few months and ill probably be dead bored if I dont know where to go and stay busy and out of jail.

On the 12th day of each month you can go to Yuexiu Park and see the Hakka folk song singing gala which is held on a hilltop there. (See my Guangzhou page for details)

Staying in Guangzhou for a few months provides u enough time to dig GZ. Please make sure not to miss the food in GZ, such as morning tea, sea food, Dim Sum, etc. For sight-seeing, there are many places worthy of visiting, like Sun Yet Sen Museum, Bai Yun Mountain, Pearl River evening cruise, Guangzhou Xiangjiang Safari Park.

U can aslo take a trip to cities around, like Foshan, Zhuhai, Qingyuan, Zhaoqing, etc. I am sure u will find fun there.

I hope you will have a memorial experience in GZ.

One of the biggest book mall in Guangzhou. Multistory high with each level providing different categories of book range. The mall mainly sells chinese books but there two private bookstores that sells english books too. One of them, by the name "New Page" that has nice ambience, provides english background music and seats for your books browsing.

At the ground floor, there are also counters selling digital dictioneries, MP3s and MP4s. Beside the main entrance is the customer service counter, where you can give them the list of book names you want to find and they will search them for you from their database. They will then give you a slip of paper with the floor and book shelve reference no for you to find them. Vast variety of chinese books - Chinese history, literature, cookbooks, novels etc.

English books - Especially those english books printed in China, they may cost even cheaper than you buy them overseas.

One of the most amazing things...

One of the most amazing things I have ever seen - in the produce market, a fishmonger on spotting myself and a couple of other guilos (round eyes), put on a display of his dexterity. He got a fish and neatly filleted it so fast it's heart was still beating inside it's skeleton, even though it's body was neatly sliced in pieces. perhaps a bit cruel - but amazing, just the same.

That's a growing up city. More and More people migrated from any other places of China to Guangzhou, so now the population of it is up to 10 Millions.

It is said "eating in Guangzhou", it is definitely true. You can see different kinds of restaurant in the tree, many of them clean and cheaper.
