Splendid China
by keeweechic
Splendid China in Shenzen is a clone of Taiwan's 'Window on China'. It allows you to 'visit all of China in one day'. Beijing's Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Tibet's Potala Palace, the Shaolin Temple, the gardens of Suzhow, the rock formations of Guilin, the Tianshan Mountains of Xinjiang, the Stone Forest in Yunnan, Huangguoshu Falls, ... even some sights of Taiwan! Everything is reduced to one fifteenth of its real size. Another site has opened in Florida I believe.
Opening Times: 8:00 - 17:30
In the Eye of the White Tiger (Zoo in Panyu)
by masta949
Want to feed baby tigers, take a photo with a 300 kg White Tiger. Here's the place to do just that. Make sure you take the Safari if you want to see Cheetahs just 5 metres away.
Don't bother going to the night zoo. What can you see at night of the animals, anyway? This Zoo in Panyu is expensive but worth the money, not just for the tigers, the Golden Monkeys are cute too.

The beautiful view from Kelvins apartement.
One day we took a walk in a marketplace and saw these dried seahorses and more strange animals (and parts of different animals) that was used for old traditional chineese medicin.
After a couple of days we took the train to Guilin...
