Near Train station
Price are being slashed by 50% during Aug when I was there. Off-peak period. So we chose one of the best rooms they have there..comes with breakfast. Rooms were reasonably sized. Staff are friendly and polite too.
One problem however is that as it is located directly opposite to the train station. U can hear soft booming sound of the announcements from the room. Not too much of the disturbance cos the sounds are off by nite and dont really start till ard 8am. Room directly overlooks the train station, so its no wonder why u can hear them as clearly as u can see them.
As like other 4star hotels, the water also have abit of the mud-taste. But not a big prob, cos got complimentary mineral water. I m surprised with their generous supply of bathing salt which is so fragrant...
Unique Quality: As usual, comes with internet connection and complimentary mineral water. The good thing about this hotel is that the sauna service is also FOC unlike other hotels where you pay to use the sauna. And its conveniently located beside the massage service which is also reasonably priced. Back massage at 120RMB i think. 80RMB for foot massage.

Guangzhou hotel near railway station
Basic hotel room with strategic location near railway station and bus station,
It was one of the first hotel that I stayed in Guangzhou. Security was tight then and at that time local Chinese has to register at the counter and surrender their identity document before going to the hotel room.
Since then, more hotels have sprung in Guangzhou. Hotel is primariy for local Chinese budget outstation businessmen as it is near the "Canton Fair" exhibition hall. Note that room rates increased during the peak season of this trade fair.
Walking distance to the main busy stretch of Huan Shi Road.

Wholesale near Guanzhou Railway Station
Hi,
Me and my girl friend had heard so much about fashion (mainly clothing) wholesale places near guangzhou railway station, can anyone advise me the road name or the building name to get there? Is it Baima Garment Market? Or any other worth going?
1) We need help for hotels that near there or easy to get to the guangzhou railway station.
2) We are flying from Singapore to Guangzhou then to Shanghai, can advise whether from guangzhou to shanghai better to take flight or train?

Baima is just opposite the railway station.
Plenty of hotels in the vicinity (and plenty of touts too).
Train to Shanghai is about 20 hours - fastest is 16 hours - and costs around 400 RMB for hard sleeper.

Liuhua Hotel is only one of several in the immediate vicinity of the railway station - it's not the nearest, and it's certainly not the cheapest! It's above McDonalds, you go past Baima to reach it.
By the way, wholesale means that - you are expected to be buying in dozens rather than singly!.
Other places you might look:
for accessories, try Onelink Plaza, near to Haizhu Sq metro; for material, buttons, etc. try the area around Zhongda metro (Sun Yat Sen university); leather goods (bags and belts) are near the railway station too.
