I presume you're asking about GUANGZHOU Hotel, not GUANGZHAO Hotel? Is that a typo?

I will be arrving in Gz on the 17 Feb , flight landed at about 9.50 am . SO how long the distance from the airport to the hotel ? Which website will be better ?
Around 33 km by taxi. I would reckon on about 90-110 RMB depending on traffic conditions.
So take a taxi will be the best , right ? What about the website ? Which hotel web should I use to book my hotel room ? Feb 17 is it a peak period ?

You can try www.octopustravel.com as they have no extra service fees that agoda charges. It should be secure as it is supported by gta travelport.

I have tried their official website , tried to book 2- 3 times , but it seem no one reply .
I just got back from GZ and stayed in this hotel . This hotel location is very good , just next to it the the Metro station . Airport bus will stop infront and you can take the airport bus just across . If you wantt o go to Macau just walk across to another hote ( Landmark Hotel ) the Macau or Zhuhai bus is just there , every half and hour they have bus .
Knocking you fingers on the table when people add you more tea is very much appreciated. That may look rude to you, however, in Guangzhou, it means "thank you".

There's a Sichuan restaurant listed in the China Lonely Planet that is absolutely out of this World! For 10 USD, my two friends and I had the best meal of our trip through China. The Roast Duck in Beijing was a close second...
The wait staff were excellent, and there is an English menu. Anything spicy!
Zhenhai Tower (Building Overlooking the Sea), better known among the locals as the Five-Storey Tower, is one of the landmarks of Guangzhou city. An interesting historical record has it that Zhu Liangzu, Yongjia Marquis of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), saw yellow and purple air rising over Yuexiu Mountain and was told by a sorcerer that it was the omen of a new emperor. To subdue this omen, Zhu Liangzu ordered this tower to be built in 1380. Over the past 600 years, the tower has been destroyed five times and subsequently rebuilt five times. Now it is home to the Guangzhou City Museum, housing relics and documents showing Guangzhou's history over 2,000 years. Known as the first tower in Lingnan (South of Nanling Mountain) Area, Zhenhai Tower is 28 meters (92 feet) high and 16 meters (52.5 feet) wide.
