The Guangzhou MTR consists of 4 lines. They pass through most major area of Guangzhou. And the newly opened 3rd line goes from Guangzhou to Panyu. The fare is about CNY 3 (Euro 0.3, US$ 0.384) to CNY 12 (Euro 1.2, US$ 1.54). The ticket is like a coin. And there is another type of card which is for multiple trips. You may buy it in the ticket centres of stations. Travelling by MTR is the most convenient way. You may travel to most of the tourist place by MTR. Although the fare is more expensive than bus.
