Look both ways when crossing the streets of Canton
Can some one advice me wherh the main post office is in
Guangzhou?
I want to do shopping in Guangzhou and then make a package
and post it back home what is the max parcel weight to sent,postal rates
I think that it is better to take the post office where there are many foreigners there.Last time,I sent my items from the post office west side block of Guangzhou railway station.There are 2 post offices and 1 EMS statiion in there.The cost is depend on the weight,to where,packaging,etc...
Maximum weight is 20kg per box.
In china,When we send every items,the officer need to check all of them.
For the fake items,sometimes the officer do not accept to send.
About the packaging,the officer do it after checking items.
They have the box.tape,cussion,etc...
You just bring the items to post office.
The main post office is near the train station but any post office is ok to send packages. Technically there is no maximum weight limit but you do have to stay within standard box sizes. If you have something larger to send that doesn't fit into a standard box (.5 meters X .25 meters is size 1) then you could always go with a freight forwarder, if the items being shipped weighs over 40k total.
Where is home and I could give you some example prices. It's by weight of course but there is always a standard service charge calculated in.

Don't worry, there are lots of signposts in the park and they are in English too. Once you get to the top of the hill you'll reach a strange stone tower, pictured. Also in the park you'll find Zhenhai Tower and the Sculpture of the Five Rams.
