Tomb of Islamic Sage Abu Waqqas by l_joo
Tomb of Islamic Sage Abu Waqqas is built around the year 629 CE which was during the Tang dynasty of China. Muhammad sent his uncle Abu Waqqas to Guangzhou for business and it was recorded that Abu Waqqas went to Quanzhou, Hangzhou and the capitol Xian, on his way back to Guangzhou, he passed away and was buried at Guangzhou. Location is Lanpu Lu (Lanpu Road) near to the Nanyue Museum, approximately 10 minutes walk. No entrance fee needed but there's a signboard "For Moslems Only".
