Meritus Hotel in Shantou
The newest and best hotel in town.
Modern feel. Good restaurants.
Staff are a friendly but they could be confused with simple questions. Something quite normal for china, i guess. I found the business center to be inadequate for such a 5 star hotel.
Other than that, its a good hotel.
Gym and swimming pool is modern
Restaurants cater quite well for Western and Chinese cuisine - relative to other hotels.
Unique Quality: Modern with great pool.
Decent location.
