We are travelling to Shenzhen in another 3 weeks and was wondering if anyone new of places that sell christmas decorations, and leather, fur garments for women. If you can help that would be great. Also what is the temp at that time - - 9 September.

I will assume you want personal stuff and not container loads!
Don't recall seeing Christmas decorations except close to Christmas. Leather garments are common in Shenzhen both in small shops or department stores. Furs are available but perhaps a bit later in the year. A lot depends on your size. If you fit in with Chinese sizes (as I do) then you should have no problems. Just remember to bargain hard on leather and keep an eye out for synthetics. I bought a synthetic coat that was absolutely brilliant but I recently managed to drop some hot metal (solder) on it and it just shrivelled up in that area and ruined it. A leather one would just have had a burn mark. I only bought one fur piece for my girlfriend (for her visit back home to Inner Mongolia where it is frigid!) and it was not expensive by Australian standards (where I come from and now live again).
I would think the weather will still be 31-33C every day during early September. I wouldn't expect it to go under 25C at night either.
It is fun to take photographs and photraphs with all the famous tourist destinations around the world.

Landed at Shenzhen Huang Tian Airport and needed to catch a connecting flight in Hong Kong. There is a direct bus from both Terminals A and B that will take you to Hong Kong International Airport for a fee of RMB 200. That is more expensive than taking a bus to the checkpoint and then taking the train into HK. But sure takes the inconvenience out.
the restaurant's food is that of othe taco bell grandes around the world - except that there's no refried beans and the taste has been adjusted to suit, well, the chinese taste buds - not too hot and spicy.
menu consists of mostly meat dishes but for vegetarians like me, you can request the staff to prepare some meatless quesadillas or wraps. still, you would find that your choices are limited. you can order about 3 dishes this way: the guacamole quesadilla, nachos and vegetable wrap (which consists of nothing but lettuce and some salsa). nonetheless, it tastes fine. price per meal would cost you from RMB50 - 100.
what i love the most about this place is their jalapeno peppers stuffed with cheese and deep fried. i also like the resto's motif - colorful, art-deco like, with paintings of mexico hung on their walls.
you gotta love it, because it's the only tbg in shenzhen or mexican resto for that matter! jalapeno peppers stuffed with cheese
perhaps it's the smell of incense or the unique architecture or the quietness of places of worship that attract me to temples..whatever it is, it's a great experience, but u must have somebody at your side who's knowledgeable and can explain things about temples, to have a richer experience. and i know just the guy...

well, Shenzhen, is very well known for its Shopping Malls...its everywhere!!! If you are smart enough you will get some nice stuffs for really good price, if not you end up paying for nothing!! Just go for 1/3 of the offered price...and stick on it....take my words...stick on it. Never regret not buying the stuff...you may get it for your asking price at the next mall!!
