swanky hotel in the heart of futian
Marco Polo Hotel is one of Shenzhen's newest 5 star hotels, located in the heart of Futian. Its location is excellent, close to Huanggang border going to Hong Kong and next to a huge mall called Coco Park.
We stayed on the 35th floor, which is part of the hotel's Continental Club, rooms with the best views and luxurious spaces. Service is excellent as all staff were friendly and helpful, especially then general manager Henk Meyknecht, who was ever-present and ready to greet hotel guests with a smile.
Cafe Marco also offers excellent food. Don't forget to try their vegetarian sushi.
Unique Quality: The continental club rooms offer a panoramic view of Shenzhen city. The hotel gives the ambiance of luxury but still feels cozy at the same time.

Great value and service.
Marco Polo is a good value hotel and is really handy to Coco Park for shopping, a bar street for catching up with friends and an Irish bar called McCawleys to watch sport and drink pints.
The gym is modern and very well appointed and the indoor swimming pool is great.
There a buffet Restaraunt in the lobby as well as a Japanese Restaraunt, but we usually eat out as there are so any other choices.
Having said that the brunch buffet is great.
