Can anyone please tell me the best way to get from Hong Kond central to Shenzen, and then onto a Golf Resort called Mission Hills?
We have asked the embassy here in Oz, but they weren't much help.
any ideas would be great

HK-SZ: take KCR (Kowloon Canton Railway)in TsimShaTsui Station and get off at the last stop, LoWu. Then cross the border, make sure you have Chinese visa, then go thru immigration.
From the station to Mission Hills, i remembered I once saw a mission hills shuttle/coach plying the route. Checking their website, there is indeed a shuttle! http://www.missionhillsgroup.com/en/gettinghere/default.aspx
correct, once you cross to LuWu they have shuttle bus, call or email to check on the schedule, otherwise you can try negotiating for a taxi, around 150 RMB should be the right fare, about 40 minutes from LuWu

From Tsim Sha Tsui to Lowu, about 35km, 14 subway station, I estimate you need 40~45min if take metro.
What is the best way to get from Hong Kong Airport to Mission Hills Golf Course? I will have several bags of luggage.

take the ferry to Shekou or Fuyong (both in Shenzhen) then take a taxi, you do not need to clear HK customs! Enjoy
I thought someone posted here before that Mission Hill has pick up service at HKIA (or at the Shekou ferry terminal).
If not then the ferry to Shekou and taxi is the best. Not all taxi drivers are willing to go all the way out there, you may have to negotiate a fix fare. I once went to a place just past Mission Hill from Shekou ferry terminal and the fare I negotiated was 160 RMB.
it's a shop and restaurant in one. very cool trinkets in the shop. i bought a thangka here for RMB250. the original price was RMB300 but i pleaded for the sales lady to give me a discount. a thangka is a Tibetan Buddhist painted scroll important in ritual and visualization. i dont know if what i got was authentic but it's beautiful nonetheless. shoes, bags, clothes, chinese mementos for the medium size thangka, it costs RMB250-300, the larger ones are from RMB400-600
It's a huge restaurant that sits on the second floor of a shopping centre in a busy area of Shenzhen. The interior decorated with oriental pictures, statues and plants. You see nicely dressed chefs cooking the main dishes in front of you. Each table has at least three waiters serving you.
I feel like I'm in a posh restaurant serving luxourious food and it's cheap!!!! The dishes are nicely decorated and arranged. Tastes delicious. The best dish would be the "The worlds number one bun" see picture - absolutely devine!
Window of the World is a fantastic replica park situated at the Overseas Chinese Town. Here you can see vivid replicas of the world's wonders, historical heritages and famous scenic sites. You can visit many reproductions of famous sites from different countries such as Mahamuni Pagoda of Rangoon and the Angkor Wat of Cambodia, European architectural splendors like Eiffel Tower, the Ancient Athens, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Tower of London, the cruel and bloody scene of miniature Roman Colosseum, the canals of Venice, the Pyramids and the Sphinx of Africa, the Oceania, Sydney Opera House of Australia, Niagara Falls and Grand Canyon of America, replica of Manhattan with towering skyscrapers.
The park is huge and has a lot to offer. It will take a whole day to fully explore it. You will have a nice time in this miniature world.

im nt sure what Shen Zhen has become today though, as u can c that my last visit there was in 2000 May. u'd visit places like the 'xiao ren guo' (wonders of the world in miniature form, present in a park), leather or garment factories and what have u.
from hk, i rem that we took mrt to Lo Wu then switched to some train or were we at the check point to shen zhen already?
like what i said, spend more time in HK and Macau!!!! or maybe cheong chau island? lolx
