Chinese Architecture @ Folks Cultural Village
by SLLiew
At this cultural park, you can see different Chinese constructed buildings of different climatic, regional and ethnic background.
So do you have to travel all over China but can see all at one place in one day.
It was fun to see different homes built from stones, wood or on stilts as China is a large country with diversity from desert, grassland, cold north, tropical south, jungle hills and lakeside towns.
Here is a suggested route: Exhibition Hall of Serial Bells, Folk-culture Village, Uigur Village, Tibetan Village, Mongolian Tent, Custom Drifting, Korean House, Li Village, Wa Village, Mosuo Village, Dong Village, Miao Village, Central Theatre, Large-scale Horse War, Phoenix Plaza

everybody dance now!
to the beat of the happy birthday song techno version :)
this place is jampacked with lots of young people. no entrance fee, that's nother reason why it's a fullhouse, probly.
anyway, great sound system and lights. it's got two floors, dance floor is on the ground floor. if u just wanna watch ppl dance, stay on the second floor and watch the sea of swaying bodies. beer's cheap too. around 10RMB no dress code

All about the Beach

"It was beautiful..."
It was hot...and it was so much fun.
Fifteen of my friends and I headed down to a beach close to Shenzhen to have a weekend retreat and run.
And what a weekend it was....read more to find out...
"Our quiet hotel"
Our hotel was great!!! We were the only guests staying there, so we virtually had the run of the place. You need water...DIY! You need beer....DIY!
The food was excellent and the price was just right!
It was close enough to the beach to enjoy the water, yet far enough away from the beach to let us have our privacy!!
It was spectacular!
"Tanning in China"
Living in Guangzhou, who would've thought you could get a suntan in China. But you can, and there are some amazing parts of the country that you would'nt believe existed.
Just when I think I've seen everything there is to see in China (well, I never ACTUALLY think that) something surprises me. This time, it was this beautiful beach with clean water and soft white sand.
Amazing!
