hi... I need urgent help!!
I am quite interested to go from hk to zhuhai by ferry by I realise that their last ferry is 530pm ( or there already change the ferry time to go back) from jiuzhou port... are there still in use?
if I cant get in time for the jiuzhou ferry to leave for hongkong.
can I try across macao causeway(near zhihai) then take a ferry to hongkong?
is the causeway from macau to ferry terminal very far away ? how to get there ?how much?
can easily get the ticket?
can i also check how long it take from Jiuhou port to Gongbei underground shopping centre.... and how much it cost and is it safe to go with elder and children...?
There are later ferries than 5:30 -9:30 is last one. here is a link to the timetable. I would check though as it may have changed. I have been back in Australia for a couple of months but this was certainly the current timetable when I left.

Where it says macau ferry it means the ferry port on Hong Kong island. The China ferry is the one at Kowloon.
You certainly could go back via Mcau but you have to factor in an hour and a half to two hours to get through customs/immigration. it doesnt always take that long but you have to have contingency.
The last ferry from Jiuzhou port is at 9:30pm to Hong Kong Island.
What are you going to do in Zhuhai? There is a free shuttle bus for ferry passengers from the port to the Gong Bei underground shopping plaza, taking about 20 minutes. It is physically safe but you need to watch money & mobile phones carfully as many pickpockets operate, especially around the restaurants where you might feel relaxed.
We intend to drink that night but unfortunately my kids love to walk so instead we walk,until we reach Shuiwan Road Bar Street the it is about 300 meters in length, with a European style and Chinese modern garden sights. Various bars, pubs, cafes and nightclubs along both sides of the street have their respective characteristics, showing different scenes and themes. This place is full of light during night.
A very short stopover at Zhuhai instead of staying in Macao which is very pricey, I choose to stay at Zhuhai Yong Tong Hotel which is cheaper. Photo taken from Yong Tong hotel.
Managed to visit the nite market at Lian Hua Lu, overnite & Early Morning bus ride to Guangzhou from the bus terminal below Yong Tong Hotel (RMB75 for a ticket to Guangzhou)
