Visa on arrival?
Would anyone please tell me if an US citizen(Chinese origin) can obtain a visa to China upon arrival at Gongbei border from Macau? And what is the cost? THANKSSSS

You might find it easier to get one in Macau itself (through an agent) rather than at the gate. Do you want to travel into China or just stay in ZHuhai - it makes a difference.

I am fairly sure that you still cannot get Visa at the border. Expect a tightening of Visas anyway as there is a significant anniversary coming up in China which they would rather ignore so they will limit tourist visas. From what I understand it is also hard to get a Visa in Hong Kong unless you are a resident. It is always best to get your visa before you leave home, especially from America as you are able to get Visas with better durations from the Chinese Embassy there than you will ever get from the Visa office in Hong Kong.

yes you can...go straight to the chinese imigration and get one...depends on how long you are willing or how long they give you the visa to stay...the fee depends on how long your gonna stay..
