In June 1998, a double room with a king-size bed was listed RMB 420.
It has its own outdoor swimming pool. It provides lunch buffet with limited choices of western and Chinese food. We saw tour buses pouring in loads of tourists for lunch.
Rooms are of good sizes with a balcony (ours facing the pool and beyond, the lake).
Within walking distance, we managed to buy some fruit from local market.
The hotel staff are helpful only in certain ways, e.g., they are very good at booking Li River cruise for you, but then knew nothing about the city itself, surprisingly (the girls at the lobby did not seem even from Guilin, instead, from other places).
