what will the weather in yangshuo be early november? already chilly, or fine weather & sunshine? also, will 3 days be enough? cheers!

3 days... depends on what you want to see. If you can afford the time and like nature/outdoors I would allow 4-5 days.
Travel Tips for Yangshuo
Dragon Head Hill Quay

This Quay is on the upper part of the Li Jiang river where passengers disembarked when they arrived at Yangshuo from their river cruise of Li Jiang from Guilin. The road leading to this Quay is heavily trafficed and lots of stalls are lined along the road as you move in/out of the Quay. You can be having a shopping spree here as there are really many many things to buy. Near to this Quay is the tram/electric bus station where you can board little pink trams or electric buses to the town so that you do not have to lug your heavy luggage.

Cormorant Fishing

Fishermen use cormorants to catch fish and return them to the boat. The fisherman drive the birds into the water where they dive below the surface in search of fish. When the birds catch fish they return to the boat and the fisherman removes the fish from their throat and places them in the basket. The secret is that the fisherman places a cord around the bird's neck to keep the bird from swallowing the fish plus they hand-rear them from chicks and train them to fish for them.
Rock Climbing

I did not try this but there are many Rock Climbing clubs in Yanghuo, all along West Street you will find them. If you are a begginer then they will train you then take you out.....if you are a good climber then you will not have a problem to go to the mountains right away. I am also not sure of the cost for this. You can bring your own or use theirs...
Boat on the River

The best way to get to Yangshuo is a boat ride on the Li River. These cruises usually start in or near Guilin (depending on the water level) and take 3 - 7 hours: a time you will never ever forget in your life!
The Best Chef in Yangshuo!

The best chef in Yangshuo was none other than my lovely girlfriend Xiujuan! There is a very small restaurant somewhere alongside the Yulong He, that offers wonderful views of the river and surrounding peaks, but doesn't even have a name... This area is extremely rural and the people who operate the restaurant don't even cook the food, they allow you to do it yourself! It had begun to rain that day, and we took shelter in this tiny restaurant... Xiujuan immediately entered the kitchen and started cooking up a tasty lunch! Rice, tomatos, fresh vegetables, and the most important secret ingredient in the entire world: LOVE!
