Yangshuo, not Yangshu, I presume?
"Best" is subjective. I would probably suggest that you take the Airport Express to Central then change to the MTR to Lok Ma Chau (Futian border).
Cross the border to Shenzhen, take the metro to Zhuzilin stop, walk to Futian long-distance bus station and then catch a sleeper bus to Yangshuo. Departures are at 0950 and 1950.
Look on http://www.mtr.com.hk/images/MTR_routemap.jpg for a map of Hong Kong's MTR system, and http://www.szmc.net/10station/index.jsp for a map of Shenzhen's MTR system.

If you know a Shenzhen local you can take a bus from LuoHu but really going to Futian will be better/easier. Don't be afraid to ask for assistance especially if you see an expat -they are usually happy to help unless they are in the same situation a you.

Travel Tips for Yangshuo

First Time Asia

by aukjejetty

The landscape and the villages are one of my most enjoyed moment of my first time in Asia. It was so much fun to bike around. We had a few bad moments (flat tires), but it doesn't make the memory any less. I would love to do this again sometime!

Scroll Paintings - good souvenir too

by myspices

Scroll paintings are great souvenirs to buy as they are light and compact and depict the cultures of China. They come in different sizes - some are really very big. Prices differ and as such use your bargaining skill. Most paintings are of Chinse brush paintaings while some are oil in canvas. The motifs are usually of mountains, rivers, pines and cranes. Some are of flowers like peonies and chrysanthemums.

Never Leave Your Hotel Without Them

by yipsufen

Yangshuo has the highest precipitation / rainfall in the spring season. Farmers start to plough and irrigate their land. However, it is also a time when tourists like to visit the countryside and farms. So make sure to begin your day of sight-seeing by biking, trekking or walking, always carry an umbrella or raincoat and wear a water-proof jacket.

When packing your luggage, be sure to bring extra pair of shoes / sandals and socks for changing if they are soiled. Hairdryer will come in handy not only to dry your hair but also to dry your shoes or clothes in case you don't have fresh ones for changing. Voltage in China is 240v. Adapter is required.

Yangshuo Wet Market

by myspices

This is Yangshuo's wet market - a place where all the sundries, vegetables, fish, pork and fruits are sold. . We went into this market in the later part of the day and still see that a lot of people are busy selling and buying. There were also some small stalls inside the market where they sell small dumplings, roasted pork, chicken and ducks. We bought some small dumplings ("pau") for our tea break. They were really steamy hot and delicious and cheap. We paid 1yuan for 3 small dumplings.
