I am traveling to Mudanjiang for the first time and would like to know the best hotel to stay at and if the staff speaks English

My wife is from mudanjiang so I go there a couple times a year.
The Beishan hotel is OK but it is quite old. It is government run hotel. Staff does not really s[peak English. They may know a few sentences but are not fluent. it is very hard to find anyone speaking English in Mudanjiang. You can probably find a translator from the local CITS office.
There are some new hotels. One is called Hawaii International Business Hotel. it is much more in the city center of Mudanjiang.
