If we had to choose one thing we didn't like in China, it would have to be hiking!
Chinese love to hike, but they have their own way, and it has nothing to do with ours.
Hiking in China is all about getting to a famous (& touristically promoted) place (like, say, Yue Shan), queue at the entrance, pay the entrance fee, queue all the way to the top, queue all the way down, and the worst of it: have to live through Chinese-styled picnic, which basically consists of carrying as much processed food as possible to the top, in order to be able to spread out as much trash as possible in the shortest period of time.
