Five Star Elegance in Wuhan
If Donald Trump designed a Chinese luxury hotel, The Oriental would be it. Located in central Wuhan, The Oriental's all gold and marble decor straddles the line between elegance and Las Vegas. The Oriental's travel agency is a good resource for booking flights within China. Negotiate your room price down from the hefty posted rates.
Unique Quality: European bakery, gold and marble facilities, helpful staff, internet lounge and travel agency.

I stayed in Wuhan with a group...
I stayed in Wuhan with a group from Taiwan. We stayed in the Oriental Hotel (dong fung da jiu dian).
I didn't pay for the accomodation, so I don't really know. But, I am pretty sure that it is the most expensive one in town.
Unique Quality: It was very five star. Its interior stood out in stark contrast to the grey dreariness of the city. Very comfortable.
