RIVERSIDE WUHAN
Holiday Inn Riverside Wuhan is located at the heart of city a few minutes away from the shopping and entertainment district.Built near the banks of the Yangtze River,opposite to the well-known Yellow Crane Tower,neighbor to the ancient Qing Chuan Pavilion.
315 well-furnished rooms including 10 suites,80 non-smoking rooms,2 disabled rooms and 50 rooms on Executive Club floor.

Holiday Inn - touch the history
Holiday Inn Riverside locates near the joint of Han River and Yangtz river.
The famous Huang He Lou is right against this hotel. Another famous historic building - Qing Chuan Ge - is right beside this hotel.
The environment is quite and nice, while you can reach the noisy downtown within 5 minutes via Qing Chuan Bridge, which is at another side of the hotel.

Hotel was more tired than I was, but good service
Well located for everywhere, badly located for anywhere *specific* if you know what I mean.
This hotel is badly in need of an overhaul. I was visiting ast the tail end of the SARS epidemic and there were few other guests. The staff were trying hard, but even their smiles and helpfulness couldn't mask a hotel that is simply "tired".
Usual international 4-star rooms, bathrooms and amenities.
Unique Quality: As with many Chinese hotels, the 'entrance side' is fancy, but the garden side is a clutter of "backside" architecture, bins and concrete roads that you are not intended to see. The hotel has gallantly created an outside eating area, but there was just too much concrete and "utilities" around to make it a great setting. Full marks for effort and initiative though.
I would stay here again.

Holiday Inn Riverside Wuhan
The Riverside is a lovely, clean hotel well located. Pricing was reasonable. The river side rooms have a great view. Management hosts special activities for Chinese and American holidays.
