Green LagoonGoose Pond
After entering the park through the south entrance gate, the first thing you'll come to is this, the Goose Pond. The story goes that Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher chatted about geese and said that they are the noblest birds of all, for they are white as snow, clear as jade, pure and spotless. As he talked on, he got so excited that he couldn't help writing down the character "goose". People then admired the art of the character so much that they set up a stone tablet inscribed with the character and built this pond beside it.
