You can see alot of small boats going up and the down the river. And of course bigger ones too. But I loved watching these guys gliding down the river being moved by strong current of the river! They had to be quite skillful to manuever their way through some of the narrow areas as the the river would be moving quite swift!
We were only in Yichang for a few hours, changing from the bus from the Three Gorges cruise to a bus to Luoyang, and we were there in the middle of some severe flooding for Southern China - torrential rain the whole time!
On to Luoyang...
