Huaihua Great Hotel
This hotel is surprisingly good, and is basically at 4-star level.
Its location is both useful (in the station square) and noisy (in the station square) but you are never far from the action.
The quality of the rooms is very good, with good bathroom as well (often what lets 3-star hotels down).
The service can be very 'danwei' and they failed to get laundry back within24 hours! (And they lied to one of my colleagues about when they had received it, claiming I had handed it in at 11pm when in fact it had been at 8 that morning!!!)
Nevertheless, a good hotel and only RMB200.
