Great downtown location and nice property
I have stayed at this property twice in 2010, each time for business (2 nights each time). Overall, the facilities are in great condition (some might note that the decor is a little dated but in perfect condition.) Breakfast buffet was as expected for this caliber hotel.
English language service was fair. (I speak some Chinese and so do not demand excellence in this regard, but non-Chinese speakers might need to be patient if any problem-solving or complex communication is needed.)
Downtown location is excellent, right in the middle of the central business district with stores, restaurants, etc., nearby. (If having a severe need for Western food, there is a Pizza Hut nearby!)
Unique Quality: Beautiful central areas, and excellent downtown location.

Excellent hotel in Nanjing
Jin Ling is the old name of Nanjing. I was on a business trip and staying in the suite. So it was excellent room facilities with internet online services. Enjoyed the sumptous buffet breakfast, both western and oriental dishes.
Great location but may be pricey if you are on budget travel.

Quite simply, one of the best hotels in Nanjing. You cannot go wrong staying at the Jinling.

Centrally located, very smart, not the sort of place that Mr & Mrs Bonio usually stay in, but I think we could get used to it!
Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
