Taxis were very reasonable in Nanjing. All of them used a meter and we never felt that we were overcharged.
The meter started on 8 Yuan and after some time clocked more. Some examples: 24 Yuan from hotel to Sun Yat Sen’s Memorial, Wende Bridge to hotel 10 Yuan.

This place is colorful lit at night and the dragons on the wall really stands out in golden colour.
Take a boat ride to go closer to the wall and a cruise along the river.
Linggu Pagoda was built in 1929 to memorize those soldiers sacrificed in the War of the Northern Expedition (1926-1927). The 9 storey pagoda stands 60.5 meters high. Speeches made by Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and epigraphs of Chiang Kai-Shek were inscribed on the tower.
