Bamboo Grove Hotel

The Bamboo Grove is a reasonably priced hotel located in the southeast section of the old town. I think it is officially a 5-star hotel, though I'd probably rate it 4-star. Prices are very reasonable - we paid RMB500 per room per night, including buffet breakfast. Room facilities are pretty standard though adequate.

Unique Quality: Reasonably priced, with reasonable facilities.

Directions: In the southeast of the old city.

Located not far from the center of town, large rooms and a nice water garden in the middle of the hotel, try to book a room facing the garden. Breakfast buffet great selection both western and Chinese food.

Unique Quality: Greet pool and some exercie facility if walking around Suzhou is not enough to wear you down!
