The Wangshi / Fisherman Garden

You can enjoy the beautiful lanscape of this garden during day time (8am to 5pm) or night time (7:30pm to 9:30pm). However, the entrance ticket is RMB10 & RMB60 respectively.

Visit early in the morning where you can feel the serenity & tranquility in the garden. The best time to visit is at night where you can experience the ambience of traditional chinese garden, scheduled with cultural performance of music & opera.

Explore every nook & corner of the garden which offers different perspective in photography & also a pleasant view to the eyes!

There is an online information terminal for your curiosity situated at the main entrance.

The Elegant Bamboo House

The Elegant Bamboo House or called the Bamboo pavilion is situated within the Blue Wave Pavilion (Canglang Pavilion).It orginated from a line of verse by Su Shunqin saying 'Autumn darkens the reddish woods',the sunlight goes through the bamboo elegantly.With the luxuriant bambooin front and at the rear casting its shadow on the white walls.The Elegant Bamboo House has been a place for scholars to compose peoms,paint or admire the suroundings.

Pan Gate Scenic Area

Located in the south-west of the city, the Pan Gate Scenic Area features three famous landmarks - Riuguang Pagoda (one of the oldest in the city), Wu Men Bridge and the Pan Gate. Pan Gate is part of the ancient city wall built in 514 B.C. that surrounded and protected Suzhou.
