Yi Ting Budget Inn: Experience the Rustic Lifestyle in Water Village
Most accommodation in Tongli resembles budget inn which gives you a homey feeling. They look authentically traditional but offers complete basic amenities with emphasis on hygience & comfort.
Unique Quality: It's a very traditional inn & the proprietor is very friendly. However, there is only four rooms available. Amenities include attached bathroom, air-conditioning & TV.
Off peak season: RMB80 (exclusive meals)
Peak season: RMB100 (exclusive meals)

There isn't A Name: Family Restaurant
It was also a great experience actually living in a house of a family. It was a coincidence that I found this place. It was actually introduce by a man who run this restaurant in the town square. There is only one room for rent just next to the restaurant sitting area. Very clean, brand new furniture with electronic heater.
Unique Quality: Come with TV and Hot Water.

Family Hotel: Old Chinese Clan House
I have to admit that this is the best hotel I stayed in throughout my trip in China. This was a clan house with about 10 rooms. All rooms are furnish with antic furnitures. Imagine this, you do not lock your door with a door knob but a wooden bar across the door.
The bed is an antic bed made of rose wood. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of putting a night in Tongli
Unique Quality: Hot Water and Air Con is available in all room.
