"4/5/2004 - Main entrance to Ning Shan Great Buddha"

Tour guide warned us that the weather might be quite cooling at the top so prepared to bring a jacket. However after much exercise climbing up the steps, we didn't feel cold at all. The morning breeze was quite refreshing indeed.

"4/5/2004 - The beginning of musical fountain show"

This is just the beginning of the spectacular show. Water is slowly jetting out from the fountain, dancing to the beat of accompanying music.

"4/5/2004 - Little Buddha in lotus flower"

During the show, the lotus flower will open gradually to reveal a little buddhle. Remember to look up too. It will turn one round & stop at this direction, ie. 7 o' clock.

"4/5/2004 - The climax of musical fountain show"

This is the climax of the show where water is jetting up sky-high, embracing the centre structure and little buddha.

Beware strong wind will blow the water droplets towards you. At this juncture, many tourists standing near to the fountain will run away...

"4/5/2004 - Wishing buddha mural ?"

I don't know why many tourists are throwing coins at the bronze buddha mural. Maybe a form of wishing foutain to them ? You can hear "Dong Dong" sounds of coin hitting the mural. I didn't throw any as I think it will destroy the bronze sculpture.

My Regrets: Should buy more Wuxi Pork Ribs for souvenir.
