Paradisa Hotel (paradeso): hotel luxury & great American/chinese breakfast
After staying in a cheap but nice hotel where I froze to death in Jan., I moved to the Paradise.
It was very nice and your room heat could be kept on while you were gone unlike the other hotel (Riverview). At the Riverview, you had to use your key card to turn on heat when you entered your room but it was so cold that it never got warm when you came in at night.
(I would recommend the Riverview in warm seasons but there is no restaurant in hotel but one is next door) and others close by.
At the Paradise, I loved having a wonderful breakfast buffet each morning. The coffee was hot and delicious and your eggs were cooked to order. You had your choice of fresh fruits, yogurt, and the usual American fare.
The Spa at this hotel is fantastic. I recommend it even if you do not stay there. You can get
the total body massage or just go for a foot (reflexology) massage. It is heaven. First you
soak your feet in an oak barrel filled with hot, fragrant tea. Then you are directed to a lounge where you relax in a big comfy chair with dim lights. Your massage is professional and very relaxing. If you choose the body massage, you may need to ask for a blanket if you are there in cold weather. It is wonderful too!! And it is so reasonably priced.
Unique Quality: Spa is fantastic
There is a rock climbing wall, a pool, and tennis courts.
The rooms were very nice with modern bathrooms.
