Slender West Lake
Named after Hangzhou's famous West Lake, this long, narrow stretch of water which meanders through Yangzhou's western limits has been a well-known scenic spot since the 3rd century A.D. It stretches northwards towards Daming Temple and is lined with willow trees, pavilions, gardens and bridges of which the Five Pavilion Bridge and 24 Bridge are the most famous. Take your time to walk around as it is magical.
Open: 6.30am-5.30pm. Admission: Y90 or Y160 that also includes the He, Ge and Potted Plant Gardens plus a boat trip.
