Yangzhou 3/5/2004
"3/5/2004 - Slender West Lake"
We reached Yangzhou at about 4pm after a very long journey from Nanjing.
At that time, it was still raining. Once we stepped down from our coach, we didn't realise that the deviation of temperature can be so huge, from 28C to 8C.
Most of us didn't wear ample clothings. One of our tour member even wore a singlet & covered himself with a blanket for warmth.
The temperature was so cold until
I have to zip up my jacket to the neck. However, my hands & legs were still shivering & I couldn't walk properly. Moreover, we still have to carry an umbrella & walked in the rain.
Luckily our tour guide bought us hot buns at the end of the tour. The buns seemed to taste so great.
Our stop in Yangzhou was very brief, just an hour.
"My Favourite & Regrets"
My Favourite: The cold weather during rain.
My Regret: Nothing much to see & a waste of traveling time.

Enjoying our breakfast!
A view to last all year
