This hotel really smashes you, especially if you drive in at night - it looks like some magic temple area embedded in a quite large park itself with several temple-like buildings. Adjecent to the very large West Lake park area (do not miss to visit it and make a boat trip with a small self-steering boat, best with some people together - in 2010 entrance to park is 60 Yuan, and boat costs 30 Yuan/hour+person for min 2 people). My very large room was newly renovated with a wonderful bath, free sweets every evening, free internet, all working perfectly, very nice staff. I was so lucky to get a very good price at a booking site. It has a good looking modern in-door swimming pool - but I did not try it - it was quite full with people - seems to be popular also for extern people. My room looked into direction of the football stadium, behind there is a larger street (but not too bad noise in the night). If you get a garden view room, it should be completely calm. Very near to city center - you can walk, about 4 blocks to a very nice tree-lined street with much bicycle traffic and full of very good and special restaurants.

Unique Quality: hotel in green park area. Near to city center and West lake. Large rooms, fresh renovated 2010, free internet.
