Gànlóng dàjiudiàn: A choice among other possibilities

An ordinary Chinese hotel well situated in Ganzhou. You are near the old town and at walking distance from the floating bridge and the City walls.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant of the hotel is good but close very early. At eight pm, it was impossible to eat. We have had to go to the food supermarket just opposite the hotel and buy a picnic.

Unique Quality: The staff is very helpful and kind. They give us good advices about bus, restaurant and different directions.

Aliens No No Hotels: Aliens No No Hotels

Aliens No No Hotels are hotels which are not allow (by the Chinese government) to take foreigners, the counter girls won't entertain you, they usually say " No no, we no take foreigners !!! "

This kind of rules is set by the Chinese government to make sure foreigners never stay in any non-star-hotels, they believed foreigners must pay much more in those 3,4,5,6 star hotels.

At the main bus station, I came across such 'Aliens No No Hotel', the girl simply turn her face away, " No we do not take aliens..."

Baiyun (Bai Yun) Hotel: Baiyun (Bai Yun) Hotel

Baiyun (Bai Yun) Hotel (Bai Yun = White Cloud), located next to main bus station, roughly 10 seconds walk from the bus station, and roughly 2 minutes taxi from main railway station. Cost RMB100 per double bedroom with bathroom attached, tv, a/c, clean, nice city view at 10th floor. Breakfast included!

Around the main bus station has millions of hotels, cheap stay, restautants, and a huge internet club on the fourth floor with 200+ desktop PC, new setup, fully seated, up-to-date hardwares!

City buses, motorcycle-taxi, taxi, etc, etc, all can be seen right in front of this hotel. There are many super cheap hotels opposite the road, cost RMB8 per head, share toilet.

This tip is built on the spot. Cost RMB2-3 per hour depends on types of internet services.
