Qi Shi Hotel: Reasonable place to get foreign food

Never stayed here, but one would imagine it is rather fancy, especially for Chinese standards. Anyway, we use to come here for burgers, tea, chips, ketchup, converstaion with fellow foreign teachers, a glimpse at the foreign engineers and a true laugh at the waiters all dressed in pink! Yeah, okay, it's not going to be the same standard as a burger a 'posh' hotel back home, but it's bl**dy damn good for a Chinese attempt!!

Unique Quality: The pink uniforms so gracefully worn by the staff. I hope they never get rid of them!!

Oh and the staff that got up at 4am New Year's Day to make those delicious hamburgers for 3 very drunk ex-pats.

Opinion of Price: more expensive than average
Address: it's on the riverfront, although don't expect any great romantic views of river boats and people sailing happily - have you seen the colour of the Yangzee River!!??
