Changchun is the capital of Jilin province. We stopped there for half a day, on our way to Haerbin.
It wouldn't be such a special place if it wasn't for the chance to visit the location where some shots from Bertolucci's "The Last Emperor" were taken. It was just like being in the movie when we stood in one of the halls. You can't help but act out some of the scenes, it's irresistible.
It is also a very interesting 'cultural' experience, as you get to understand China's point of view of Puyi, the Last Emperor, through all the placards and manequin reinactments.
