Luming Hotel: Best Hotel in Town

IMHO the best deal for accommodation in Ji'an.
It's 2-star, centrally-located, opened very recently (probably Jan 2007 or the last months of 2006). Twin with ensuite for 120 RMB.
Very clean rooms and Western-style bathroom with TV, 24-hour hot water showers (standalone electric water heater in the bathroom) and aircon/heating.
Staff is friendly and very helpful: our poor travel companions managed to choke the toilet bowl (didn't know NOT to flush the toilet paper down the toilet bowl, now YOU do!) and then "dislocate" the shower head on 2 separate occasions in the same night! The boss actually personally came to repair the shower head and we were touched by their hospitality.
We were allowed a late check-out around 2+ pm as we explained that we were going to catch the bus to Changchun at 1450.
The friendly reception staff also arranged for one of their taxi-driving friends for our vehicle hire at a very reasonable price.
The hotel also sells good bilingual (English-Chinese) maps of Ji'an for 5 RMB each.

Unique Quality: Our best memories were of the helpfulness and hospitality of the staff. I would never hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone going to Ji'an.
