Love the springs outside Qian Shan National Park.... the mountains, the temples, the JADE Palace... the huge Jade Buddha, the huge Laughing Buddha -- I had to poke its belly button!!!!
Another great town with wonderful people....
10 yuan foot massages... can't go wrong there.....
Hotels near the hot springs... 20-40 yuan per night.....
Got to go back... still missed seeing the mountain with the 5 huge buddhas... plus was told on the East Gate of the park... can find huge copper sculpture.....
plus.. a taxi driver told us.... small village nearby has great market with cheap and decent quality leather coats.....

Anshan, the 219 Park

This has been our favourite spot in Anshan and we have visited it very often, regardless of the season or the temperature. We have seen the swimmers in the Spring and Summer (and Winter brrrrrrrr). We have seen the musicians and singers in all the seasons and we have seen the ice skaters in the Winter. The Park has lots of grass, flowers, trees, several lakes, and even a wilder section that is linked with a nearby hill, excellent for Sunday walks.

One of the nicest things about the park is that it is well taken care of and it seems to be greatly appreciated and used by the people in Anshan.

Altogether a wonderful place!!!!
