Dalian Shangri-La Hotel is ideally located in the city center, close to the major shopping centers and department stores, a short drive from the South Beach area with its gorgeously long stretches of sand and only a 20 minute drive from the international airport. Transport to and form the airport, and a limousine service is offered by the hotel.

This is a luxurious five star hotel with over 550 rooms all equipped to a high standard with IDD, voice mail system, satellite TV, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, in room electronic safe and internet access. Many of the rooms have internet access and the hotel offers 24 hour room service to all guests. This hotel also has a gift shop, shopping arcade and a parcel and postal service. Most rooms are also equipped with internet access.

The business and conference facilities here are also good. The Shangri- La has an elegant ballroom that can cater for up to 2,000 people for receptions and there are an additional 16 function rooms here, all equipped with state of the art audio-visual, lighting and meeting equipment and simultaneous translation facilities. The 24 hour business center here can provide full secretarial, translation and administrative services and there is an in house courier service offered.

For sports and recreation, the hotel has a lovely heated indoor swimming pool, a health club, fully equipped gymnasium, aerobics room, sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, massage room, indoor/outdoor tennis courts, hairdressing and a beauty salon.
