I dont live in Dalian but in Dubai. I had been to Dalian , it islast year,its a real beautiful place on earth. I simply love that place except for food. yes there is an Indian restuarant located at HOTEL ZHONGSHAN, it is a revolving restaurant, but the food is not absolutely Indian, it is like chinese food served in India, but you can really enjoy the same. The Phone number is 82812888. You can check the internet for the phone numbers of Zhongshan Hotel, it is nice hotel and am sure you will enjoy your stay there in Dalian. The cost of the food is also cheap when compared to international standards. Best wishes Sunny.
Unfortunetely I didnt visit that park in the night, we just passed the ´Labor Park. At that time we were on the way to somewhere else. At the next day we went to that park and after we entered it, I saw what I missed.
There were built many scenes of chinese history and cultures. (later I will publish some photos in my travelogue.)
That Park is at the foot of the Lushan Mountain. Besides rare flower there are pavilions, terraces and a more to see. For sure, a great place to relax.

English menu, English spoken Nice selection of pasta dishes and lots more.
I love their Chicken and mushroom in cream sauce over pasta.
Great garlic bread and bruchetta.
The 295 acres Laohutan Scenic Park, lying southeast of the city, with a coastal line of 4.6 kilometers, is a large and recreational center in Dalian. The park comprised the Tiger Park, Singing Birds Woods, Tiger Square and an Aquarium. The Tiger Square is one of the famous sites in the park, covering 15700 square meters, highlighting the largest granite sculpture in China. Six vivid sculpture tigers make the irregular square the most outstanding among dozens of squares in Dalian. To the southwest of Laohutan Bay lies Singing Birds Woods, which covers 4,500 sqm with a gigantic bird cage. It is also the natural habitat of thousands of birds. The Park has special performances like the Peacocks Flying Southeast, which depicts an ancient Chinese tragic love story, the Mermaid Show and the Sea Lion Performance.
