General Accommodation Area Tips
Generally, I recommend staying around Zhong Jie pedestrian street and the Imperial Palace; or near Taiyuan Jie which's a pedestrian shopping street. Both areas are quite lively and interesting.
The former is closer to Shenyang North train station whereas the latter would be quite relatively close to Shenyang main train station.

The nearest hotel to my...
The nearest hotel to my school are the Continental Hotel and the Holiday Inn, they are huge (I never seen or heard such a big holiday inn any where else) down there are an irish bar and a lovely club called Star Hollywood. If you love to join clubs, you can't miss these ones.
