I stayed three nights in the British International Hotel at a reduced rate. At its original rate, it was greatly overpriced. I found this hotel dull but functional. The best thing that I could say about it was that my room was large and clean. It also had a wildly gaudy, lit up advertisement on the roof. I found the staff here somewhat rude and disinterested. The hotel was well situated in the centre of the wall city. It was not too far from the Islamic quarter and the Bell Tower.
The hotel claims to have a Western restaurant but it really does not.
