Delightful room service
by SPWSusan hadn't eaten on the plane from Beijing (not an unreasonable decision as the airline food was pretty awful) so ordered a light lunch from room service.It arrived with a flourish!
The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet good but the hotel was let down by the elevators: only 2 for the whole hotel, and quite inadequate for the demand. Some of us learnt quickly to take an up elevator to go down as the wait for an empty down one was interminable.
The location, just outside the walls was excellent for exploring the walled city and the activities in the surrounding park.
