Decent, Easy
by John195123 about Shuyuan Youth Hostel
They have an English menu with western and Chinese food. The Chinese food we had wasn't the best we've eaten. One thing they did have was a dumpling-making night, where guests could help make dumplings and after the chefs cook them up, eat them for free. You don't learn too much about the dumplings- more of how to put them together than ingredients, though I suppose you could ask and watch that part as well.
Two images.
(VT Photo Lesson Readers, note the difference in white balance between the two images. If you never heard about the lessons, they're up on my homepage!)
Bathing pools...
by Limclarence
From the terracotta warriors trip, you can take this side trip on the way back to town. Basically, this area are filled with little pools with different names. We came during winter, so the pond in the middle is frozen, cool :). Check out the hot spring water.
Mosque - The garden
by solopes
In almost all the mosques that I visited, water for purification waits the believers at the entrance, and receive a treatment of some evidence. I didn't see it in Xi'an. A beautiful and refreshing garden, but no fountain. They really wanted to be original, or did I miss something?
Kill The Goose II

The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is quite rundown and is a distance from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
There's another similar Pagoda at the South City Wall Entrance. Save some money and go the the South City Wall Entrance instead.
