Melody Hotel Xi'an: Budget accommodation near Bell Tower

This hotel was on the same side as the Bell Hotel and charging about 180 Yuan night. It also had shuttle buses and tour buses picking and leaving passengers. Looked like it was worth checking.
I recently spent 2 nights in the Melody Hotel in Xian. Without doubt the noisiest Hotel Ive stayed in. Only 4 stories high it is located right on the main square. Location is good with good views of bell and Drum Towers. A hunger busting Maccas directly opposite was a life saver as the "western" breakfast was atrocious. The floors were filthy in the Hotel and it definitely doesnt deserve a 3 star rating. Frankly I've stayed in backpackers with more going for them
The fact that it is in Xian is its only possible claim to fame.
