I booked my package via a reputable travel website, and we upgraded it to this hotel for its location. LP actually puts this hotel on the par with the Hyatt, and so i thought it should be worth it. The room's ok, but maybe because it's not a new hotel in town, thus the furnitures & fittings are starting to look worn out. The hotel's buffets are worthy of a try if seeking to detox from lamb overdose in the city.

However, after seeing this city, i think the best hotel in terms of strategic terms would be The Bell Tower Hotel. Prices double during peak period.

Located on the main shopping street in Xi'An. However, i don't find the shopping street of anything spectacular, if compared to BeiYuanMen. Approx. 15minutes walk east of Bell Tower.
